Rainbow Valley Campground, located in Edmonton, Alberta, is a natural camping area that has been offering a unique camping experience to visitors since 1963. The campground is managed by Snow Valley Ski Club, a not-for-profit organization that has been operating since 1953. The campground is situated in Whitemud Park, which is connected to and part of Edmonton's River Valley system, an 88-kilometer continuous park that stretches from the town of Devon to Fort Saskatchewan.
Rainbow Valley Campground offers over 66 sites, including 3 comfort camping domes, with many amenities such as easy access to a walking trail network that follows Whitemud Creek all the way to the North Saskatchewan River. The campground is open from May to the end of September and offers 39 power sites with 15 amp and 27 natural sites. Weekly rates are available except during Peak Season (July & August), and group camping is not available.

Rainbow Valley Campground has implemented certain guidelines to ensure the enjoyment of all visitors during their stay. Check-in time is any time after 2:00 pm, and check-out time is no later than 11:00 am. Quiet hours are between 10:00 pm and 7:00 am, and "partying" in the campground will not be tolerated. Each site must be occupied by at least one person 21 years of age or older, and registered campers are responsible for the behavior of their group and/or guests. Maximum capacity of any one site is six people. Alcohol must be kept within the boundaries of the campsite, and campsites must be kept clean at all times. Please use receptacles provided for garbage and recyclables appropriately. All visitors must park in the main parking lot, and there are no visitors after 10:00 pm.
