Our History
Nova Countertop opened for business on June 1st, 1991, with a humble beginning in 2500 square feet of warehouse space in the Burnside Industrial Park in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. We started with post-formed laminate countertops, but as our business grew, we expanded into Dupont Corian solid surface production. This expansion allowed us to increase our volume and eventually take over a neighbouring business, giving us 4500 square feet and the ability to expand our territory to include all of Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Southern New Brunswick.
In 2002, we were approached by Dupont to become the first authorized Corian Quartz installers in the Atlantic region. This partnership enabled us to offer our customers an even wider range of high-quality products. As sales continued to grow, we outgrew our space again, and in 2006, we purchased our own building in Burnside at #6 Trider Crescent, measuring 7000 square feet on the ground with a further 1250 square feet of mezzanine space. This new facility allowed us to further expand our operations and improve our services.

Our Products
We stock a large variety of countertops from Corian Solid Surface, Corian Quartz, and Prestolam. If we don't have it in stock, we can order it in for you. Our countertops can be custom cut to meet your designs, and we have professional installers to ensure it's done right. We also provide a large variety of kitchen sinks to complement your new countertop, including Nautika Stainless Steel, Granite, and Quartz sinks.
