Your Voice in Agricultural Policy
Established in 2000, the Agriculture Producers Association (APAS) serves as the unified voice for Saskatchewan's agricultural community. As a democratically elected, non-partisan organization, we represent ratepayers in 135 rural municipalities, advocating for policies that enhance the prosperity and resilience of farm and ranch families. Our work spans critical areas such as carbon taxation, rail transportation, business risk management, and water policy, with a focus on creating actionable solutions through collaboration with members and stakeholders. Governed by a 12-member Board of Directors elected from member municipalities, APAS combines grassroots representation with strategic advocacy at provincial and federal levels.

We prioritize member benefits, including exclusive discounts on insurance, vehicles, and farm supplies, while fostering partnerships to amplify the agricultural sector's influence. Our mission remains rooted in democratic principles, transparency, and a commitment to addressing the unique challenges faced by producers. Through initiatives like the APAS Young Leaders program and participation in the Canadian Federation of Agriculture, we ensure Saskatchewan's agricultural community remains a respected and influential force in shaping national policy.
