She reported that the staff removed the engraving on the inside of her ring while fixing it, and then charged her twice as much as her regular jeweler in the city. She further discovered that they had scraped off gold from the inside of the ring during the repair, which caused the ring to become top-heavy and difficult to wear. Sonya is extremely dissatisfied with the customer service and lack of respect for her property, stating that she will never return or recommend the jeweler.
