Our History

Our founder, Harry J. Blunden, was a master craftsman and cabinet maker who started his own company, Blunden Supplies, in 1949. His son, George, joined the company in 1949 and became president in 1958. George has since passed the reins to his son, Douglas, who is carrying on the Blunden family tradition. For over 70 years, we have been dedicated to building a reputation for excellence and integrity in the construction industry.

Excavation Projects

Our excavation projects include everything from basic excavation work to complex building excavations and on-site septic systems. We have a fleet of 12 trucks, including 5 dump trucks and 7 pickups, to ensure that we have the right equipment for the job. Our team of experienced excavators is dedicated to providing high-quality services that meet the unique needs of each project.

Oil and Septic Systems

Our oil and septic systems services include the construction of on-site septic disposal systems, installation and removal of oil tanks, and licensed installation of septic systems and oil tanks. We hold licenses issued by the Province for the installation of septic systems and oil tank installation or removal, giving our clients peace of mind and confidence in our abilities.

Our Guarantee

We stand behind the quality of our work and materials, and are committed to providing a high level of customer satisfaction. Our 12-month guarantee ensures that our clients are protected against defects in our materials and workmanship for a full year after the completion of our work. If a defect appears within the 12-month period, we will promptly repair or replace the defective materials and make good any improper workmanship.

We are committed to safety on our job sites, and have a certified safety program in place to ensure the well-being of our employees and clients. Our program includes regular safety training, risk assessments, and a comprehensive plan for emergency situations.
