Our History

Established in 1960, 4 Pines Motel has seen steady growth ever since. Starting as one building, we now have three facilities, offering a range of budget rooms and luxurious suites. In 2004, the hotel was purchased by another family, who have since made many improvements, including updated Serta Pillow Top mattresses and a guest laundry facility. Our continuing history is a testament to our commitment to providing the best possible accommodations to our guests.

Lillooet's rich history dates back to the time of the gold rush, with the famous Cariboo Trail beginning here. Mile "0" cairn, the starting point of the trail, is placed in Lillooet, and the town was once the largest settlement in British Columbia. Situated on the banks of the mighty Fraser River, Lillooet offers visitors a stunning display of nature's beauty, with awe-inspiring sights of river canyons and majestic mountains.
