Our Story

From a young age, Derrick, our founder, was fascinated by woodworking and spent countless hours in his grandfather's wood shop. This passion led him to pursue a career in finishing carpentry, where he honed his skills and learned the intricacies of cabinetry. After years of working for large companies, Derrick decided to take the leap and start his own business, Kniss Custom Woodwork, in 2008. Since then, the company has grown exponentially, with Derrick's wife, Deeann, joining the team to help expand the business.
