Our Story
As locals, we wanted a local shop that matched the calibre of the trails we get to ride every day. A shop that only carries products and brands that we believe in and trust. A shop for the mountain bike community. We started Vedder Mountain Bike Co. with this vision, and we're proud to offer a wide range of bikes, parts, accessories, and services to suit every rider's needs.
Meet Our Team
Our team is comprised of passionate cyclists who are dedicated to providing exceptional service and expertise. Rob Friesen, our owner, runs the sales and day-to-day operations of the shop, bringing over two decades of experience in the bike industry. Spencer Arnold, our owner and in-house tech guru, runs the service shop and ensures that every bike is tuned to perfection. Jeremy Knoke, our owner and Chartered Professional Accountant, works behind the scenes to keep the shop running smoothly. Our team of certified mechanics, including Stefan Bott-Michaelis, Peter Bartman, and Nic Shain, provide top-notch service and repair work. Peter Bartman, our in-house mountain bike coach, is certified through the Professional Mountain Bike Instructor's Association (PMBIA) and offers coaching lessons to riders of all levels.

We offer a full range of services to keep your bike running smoothly. From flat tire repairs to full bike builds, we have got you covered. Our services include minor and major tune-ups, e-bike tune-ups, flat repairs, cable installations, brake bleeds, bike builds, dropper post installations, wheel builds, and fork services. We're fully trained and certified to work on Bosch and Shimano E-Bike systems, and we use only the best products and brands to ensure that your bike is running at its best.
