Design

We begin by meeting with you to understand your design needs and preferences. We will prepare concept plans based on existing conditions, with several options to choose from if required. Every project is a prototype, and every client has different needs. Our designers will achieve a balance between vision and reality to best suit your needs, taking into account not just your home or building, but also your landscape, driveway, and parking to ensure a cohesive overall flow and function. Our designs are designed to add curb appeal and increase the value of your property.

Drafting

Once a concept is selected, our firm starts the drafting process. We can provide you with a set of plans to obtain quotes from builders and understand the financial scope of the project. We also provide architectural plan sets required for Building Permit Application. Our firm has the qualifications required by the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing to apply on your behalf. We recommend local engineers for any needed structural drawings and coordinate with them to ensure compliance with the Ontario Building Code and local bylaws.

Rezoning

We work closely with local planners to navigate rezoning applications and provide concept options to choose from. Together, we will visualize the changes to the zoning and help you navigate the rezoning application process, including meetings with the local Planning Department and Council. Our services include subdivisions, commercial plazas, multi-residential buildings, and more. We typically provide site concepts, basic floor plans, and basic elevations.

Our Team

Our team is led by Fabienne Lehmann, a Registered Designer with the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing and a graduate of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich. Fabienne has extensive experience in architecture, having worked as an architect in Switzerland and as an intern with J.J. Tschumi in Geneva. She has also worked with several local architects, including Erik Wilke, Gregg Gordon, Chris Tworkowski, Neil Campbell, Amr Barrada, and Hugh Taylor.

Solar Panels

We also work with Copperhill Solar DIY in Havelock, ON to provide solar panel solutions for your roof. We can provide the necessary drawings for the Building Department and ensure compliance with local regulations.
