Our Location
Our dental practice is conveniently located in the Cobble Hill community, at 55-1400 Cowichan Bay Rd. We are in the Valley View centre, right by Drumroaster coffee, above the Liquor Plus and next to the charging stations. Our central location makes it easy for our patients to access our services, and we are proud to be a one-stop shop for all their dental needs.

Dr. Dustin George: Hi everyone! My name is Dr. Dustin George and I'm the proud owner of Cobble Hill Dental. I was born and raised in Leamington, Ontario and studied biochemistry at The University of Western Ontario. I worked in research for a year but realized that I enjoyed working with people more than I did the nitty-gritty of lab science. I was granted the opportunity to study dentistry at The University of British Columbia, and there was no looking back. I practiced in Whitehorse for a year before moving to Cobble Hill, where I joined the practice as Dr. Cornell's younger and better-looking sidekick. I am passionate about what I do and am grateful for my dedicated team and fantastic patients. When I'm not at the office, I enjoy spending time with my lovely wife and two children.
Dr. Jay Cornell: Like many Westerners, I was born in Ontario, Fort William area back in 1960. My family relocated to Southern BC when I was young, and I was eventually moved to Whitehorse where I graduated from high school. I took advantage of the bursary offered to students and studied at the University of Victoria, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Botany) in 1985. I was accepted into the Faculty of Dentistry at UBC and graduated in 1990. I moved back to the Island and married my wonderful wife, Nancy. I started practicing in a small office in the Gordon Head area of Victoria but soon decided to head over the Malahat to live and work in the Cowichan Valley, where I have spent the last 30 years serving the people of South Cowichan. I started my practice in Mill Bay in 1993 and relocated it to its current Cobble Hill location in 2006. In 2020, I completed the transfer of the office to Dr. George, and I continue to work happily as an associate for the practice.
