Welcome to Access Driving School, a leading driving school in the Kingston area dedicated to providing exceptional driving education in English and French. Founded and operated by a former Driver Examiner with over 9 years of experience with Drive Test and conducting more than 25,000 road tests, we aim to bring a new level of preparation and perspective to every student. Our focus is to equip each student with the tools and confidence to drive safely and confidently in the city and on the highway.
At Access Driving School, we are proud to own and operate a fleet of clean and well-maintained vehicles. Our friendly and patient instructors conduct all in-car appointments one-on-one and are committed to providing upfront and fair pricing, with no hidden costs.
Services
Access Driving School offers a range of MTO-approved courses and packages designed to cater to the different needs of our students:
1. Beginner Driver Course - In Class
Our in-class beginner driver education course is designed to provide students with the essential skills they need to become safe and confident drivers. The 40-hour course includes:
- 20 hours of interactive classroom instruction
- 10 hours of private in-car lessons (60 minutes each)
- 10 hours of independent learning (workbook) done in-class
This course offers defensive driving, on-road highway driving, pick-up, and drop-off for driving lessons. Payment plans are available, and certification is included in the course fee.
2. Online Beginner Driver Course
Our online beginner driver education course is recommended for students who prefer to study at their own pace. The course includes:
- 40 hours of online training
- An in-car lesson package upon completion
Students are required to complete the online course within two months and will be contacted by an instructor within one month of completion to schedule their in-car lessons.
3. Road Test Package - Private Lessons
Our road test package provides students with private lessons before their G2 or G road tests. These customized lessons focus on the skills necessary for a successful road test.
