At Centre pour enfants Timiskaming Child Care, we uphold the values of trust, empathy, respect, and kindness. We believe that each child is unique, with their own strengths, interests, and needs. Our approach to child care is guided by these principles, and we endeavor to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for all.

Programs

We offer a wide range of programs, designed to meet the diverse needs of families and children in our community. Here is an overview of our key programs:

  • EarlyON ON y va Child and Family Centres: These centres support the learning, growth, and connection of children aged 0-6 and their parents or caregivers. Our EarlyON programs offer a variety of activities, including parent-child drop-ins, group sessions, and community events. Our aim is to foster strong and supportive relationships between children, parents, and caregivers, and to promote the overall well-being of families.
  • Licensed Child Care Centres: Our licensed child care centres provide quality care for children aged 0-13 years. We are committed to creating safe and welcoming environments that promote healthy growth and development, while also fostering a sense of belonging and community. Our curriculum is based on the Ontario Early Years Framework and is designed to support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and language development.
  • Licensed Home Child Care: Our licensed home child care program offers a nurturing and stimulating home atmosphere for children aged 0-13 years. Our home child care providers are carefully selected and trained to provide high-quality care, based on the same principles and curriculum as our licensed child care centres.
  • Early Learning School Readiness Programs: These programs help prepare children for the transition to school by building their confidence, skills, and knowledge. We offer a variety of school readiness programs, including JK/SK Transition, Kindergarten Bootcamp, and Math and Literacy Club.
  • Resource Centre / Toy Lending Library: Our Resource Centre offers a wide variety of books, toys, and educational materials for families and children to borrow. Our Toy Lending Library is a popular service, allowing children to explore and learn through play in a safe and supportive environment.
