Our Story
Paul Speer, the founder of Speer Opticians, opened the doors to his store in St. Catharines in 1978. Since then, he has been a pioneer in the optical industry, bringing the most creative and innovative eyewear designs to the Canadian marketplace. With a passion for unique design, Paul seeks out new designers at the annual European trade shows in Paris and Milan and has been the first Canadian retailer for many eyewear lines.
