Campground Overview
The campground offered at this location is relatively quiet, with most sites having a lovely view of the lake. However, the proximity to the highway can lead to some noise. The facilities are excellent, with hot showers and clean bathrooms. The campground is well-maintained, and the staff is friendly.
Site Amenities
The campsites vary in terms of distance from the lake and highway. Some sites are quite close to the highway, which can be a drawback for light sleepers. However, the sites that are farther away from the highway tend to be more secluded and quieter. Some sites offer beautiful views of the lake, while others are more geared towards families with children.
Facilities
The facilities at the campground are top-notch. The bathrooms are clean and well-maintained, and the showers are hot. There are also laundry facilities and a camp store on site.
Mosquitoes and Wildlife
Some campers have reported issues with mosquitoes, which can be a problem in the area. Additionally, there have been sightings of snakes near the campground.
Booking and Pricing
The campground offers both reserved and first-come, first-served sites. The pricing is reasonable, with a rate of $35 per site per night.
