For over 43 years, the Bearclaw Gallery has been a respected and renowned destination for Canadian First Nations, Metis, and Inuit art. Established in 1975 by Agnes Bugera, the gallery has played a significant role in promoting and showcasing the talents of Indigenous artists from across Canada.
As one of the first galleries of its kind, the Bearclaw Gallery has made a substantial contribution to the development and promotion of Canadian First Nations art from the many Aboriginal cultures across Canada. Our gallery is located in the heart of Edmonton's Gallery Walk district, making it easily accessible to art enthusiasts and collectors.
Our Services
At the Bearclaw Gallery, we offer a diverse selection of art forms, including paintings, sculptures, carvings, jewelry, and crafts. Our collection includes works by internationally acclaimed First Nations artists such as Daphne Odjig, Norval Morrisseau, Alex Janvier, Jane Ash Poitras, and Maxine Noel, to name a few.

Our gallery is a member of the Edmonton Gallery Walk Association and respectfully acknowledges that we are situated on Treaty 6 territory, which is the traditional land of many Indigenous nations, including the Nehiyaw (Cree), Denesuline (Dene), Nakota Sioux (Stoney), Anishinabae (Saulteaux), Niitsitapi (Blackfoot), and Metis Nation.

The Bearclaw Gallery is located in the heart of Edmonton's Gallery Walk district at 10403-124 Street, Edmonton, Alberta, T5N 3Z5. Our gallery hours are Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We are closed on public holidays.
