Nestled in the heart of the Qu'Appelle Valley, The Little Glass Hut is a charming studio and retail outlet featuring the stunning stained glass artworks of owner Dorothy Ball and other talented Saskatchewan and Canadian artists. Located in Lebret, one of the oldest settlements in Saskatchewan, our quaint little house-turned-studio is a haven for art lovers and those seeking unique gifts. Our Story

My journey with stained glass began over 15 years ago, in the mid-1990s. It was a passion that soon grew into a dream of having my own studio and shop. In 2004, that dream became a reality when The Little Glass Hut was born. Today, you can find me busy creating new pieces in the back of the store, where I also teach hands-on stained glass classes on Thursday evenings. I take great joy in working with people, and it's a thrill to see my creations find new homes, whether it's down the road or across the globe.

Commissioned Pieces

If you have a specific design or idea in mind, we welcome commissioned pieces. Our expert stained glass artist, Dorothy Ball, will work closely with you to bring your vision to life. Whether it's a custom window hanging, lamp, or decorative piece, we'll work together to create a one-of-a-kind masterpiece that exceeds your expectations.

Classes

Our hands-on stained glass classes are a fantastic way to learn the art of stained glass while creating your own unique piece. Held on Thursday evenings over a 4-6 week period, our classes are suitable for beginners and experienced artists alike. We provide all the necessary tools and supplies, and our expert guidance will ensure that you're able to create a stunning piece that you'll be proud to display in your home.

Our Location

The Little Glass Hut is located on Highway 56 in Lebret, Saskatchewan, surrounded by the picturesque hills of the Qu'Appelle Valley. Our beautiful Roman Catholic Church rests on the shores of Mission Lake, providing a stunning backdrop to our charming studio and shop. We're open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from May to December, including statutory holidays.
