About Me

I am a Registered Counselling Therapist (RCT) with the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists and a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree, a Bachelor of Education degree, and a Master of Education degree in Counselling.

For over 30 years, I have worked with children, youth, and families in various settings, including schools and private practice. I am passionate about supporting individuals and families through life's challenges and transitions with empathy, understanding, and evidence-based interventions.

Trauma & Play Therapy

• I have completed specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and integrate play therapy techniques into my approach with younger clients.

Approach and Techniques

My therapeutic approach is client-centered and strengths-based, utilizing evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), EMDR therapy, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness techniques.

Recent Developments

I am excited to announce that I have completed training in EMDR therapy, a powerful approach for processing trauma and supporting recovery.

Availability and Fees
