The journey of South Cooking Lake Greenhouses began when Ernst and Else Wanke opened our doors in 1958. Their youngest son, Harold, was just an infant at the time. Harold grew up surrounded by the sights and sounds of the greenhouse, developing a lifelong passion for horticulture. After taking over the family business in 1989, Harold has continued to build upon the foundation laid by his parents. Today, Harold's children have also joined the family business, ensuring that our commitment to quality and customer service remains unchanged.
