Duracore Construction
At Rosemount, we use Duracore as our preferred choice of material for construction. Duracore is a superior material to particle board, melamine or plywood stock material, with exceptional strength and structural integrity even when wet. This makes it especially suitable for sink bases, bathroom cabinetry, and humid environments. Duracore is bonded with phenol-based resin that is formaldehyde free, and its excellent material strength makes it ideal for box construction and shelf loading. It is veneered with quartered and rift white oak for superior abrasion resistance, and is specifically engineered and produced for Rosemount by Columbia mills in British Columbia.
