At ConnexOntario, we exist to bridge the gap between the services that are available and the people who need them. Our vision is a province where all people in Ontario are connected to mental health and addictions support where, when, and how they need it. We believe that everyone deserves access to the right services, at the right time, and in the right place.
Our Mission and Values
Our mission is to provide 24/7 access to information for mental health and addictions services. We do this through expert youth engagement, collaboration, and resource development. We also provide comprehensive systems data to support informed decision-making. Our values are centered around collaboration, compassion, equity, diversity, inclusion, excellence, innovation, integrity, and responsiveness. We believe in acknowledging and respecting the traditional Indigenous territories across the province and working towards renewing respectful relationships with Indigenous communities.
Services We Offer
At ConnexOntario, we offer a range of services to support individuals and communities across Ontario. Our services include customized lists, reports, and charts, which can be presented in different formats such as PDF files and spreadsheets. We also provide free print and other resources promoting our system navigation and information services. Additionally, we offer online tools and apps to support youth mental health, such as mindyourmind, which co-creates interactive tools and innovative resources to build capacity and resilience.
Our Commitment
We are committed to providing free and confidential health services information for people experiencing problems with alcohol and drugs, mental illness, or gambling. We connect individuals with services in their area, providing them with the support they need to overcome their challenges. We recognize that historical and ongoing injustices have impacted Indigenous Peoples, and we accept responsibility as a public institution to contribute towards revealing and correcting miseducation and renewing respectful relationships with Indigenous communities.
Leadership
ConnexOntario is governed by a diverse, community-based board of directors. Our board includes representatives from addiction and mental health organizations, related organizations, and umbrella groups from across the province. Our leadership team is dedicated to fulfilling our mission and values, and to ensuring that everyone in Ontario has access to the mental health and addictions support they need.
