Our Story

Tweedsmuir Travel was founded in 1987 by Terry Corbould, a long-time resident of the Bella Coola valley and B&B owner. In 2008, the business was purchased by Markus and Kirsten Schieck, a husband-and-wife team who bring a wealth of experience and passion for travel to the agency. Markus, a former corporate executive, and Kirsten, a seasoned travel professional, left their corporate lives behind to pursue their dream of living in the beautiful Bella Coola Valley and running their own business.

Our Team

Markus and Kirsten are both avid travellers who have explored extensively throughout Europe and North America. Markus, an outdoor enthusiast, loves to hike, fish, and explore the natural beauty of the Bella Coola Valley. Kirsten, a dedicated mother of two, is a travel industry veteran with a passion for organizing and planning unforgettable travel experiences.
