Art Smith Aviation Academy (ASAA) is a purpose-driven educational organization nestled within the heart of 4 Wing Cold Lake, Alberta. We are dedicated to fostering a passionate and skilled generation of aviation enthusiasts through a unique, hands-on learning experience. Our mission is to empower young minds to achieve their dreams of taking flight.

Who We Are

Founded upon a rich history and inspired by the courageous spirit of its namesake, Art Smith, the Academy is an 'alternative program' school within the Northern Lights Public School system. We currently offer a K to 9 program in English and a K to 6 French Immersion program, welcoming students from all walks of life in the Cold Lake area. Our dedicated team is passionate about supporting the unique needs of military dependents while fostering a supportive learning environment for all students.

What We Offer

ASAA provides a comprehensive aviation-focused educational experience. Our curriculum includes:
