Our History

Founded by Curt Damignani and Wilf Palmer in April 1965, Palmer Construction Group has evolved significantly over the years. Initially, the company focused on residential and small commercial grading and paving projects, but soon branched out into sewer and water main construction, and eventually, larger projects like street reconstruction within the City of Sault Ste. Marie. In 2001, we became a builder/dealer for Butler Manufacturing, and in 2003, we purchased our own asphalt plant, enabling us to bring high-quality construction products to the market.
