York Construction Academy is a registered institution under the Ontario Career Colleges Act, dedicated to providing comprehensive construction and home renovation training courses to students in the Greater Toronto Area. Our mission is to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in the construction industry, and we have been doing so since 2001.
Our Programs
Our flagship program, the Full-Time Construction Home Renovation Program, is a 12-14 week course that covers a wide range of topics, including blueprints, foundation, framing, drywall, finish carpentry, flooring and tiles, basic plumbing, basic electrical, and safety training. This comprehensive program is designed to provide students with a solid foundation in construction basics, preparing them for a successful career in the industry.
In addition to our full-time program, we also offer a Part-Time Construction Home Renovation Program, which is designed for students who require a more flexible schedule. This 12-week course is held on weekends, with optional open workshops on Wednesdays, and covers the same range of topics as our full-time program.
Hotel and Building Maintenance Program
We are excited to announce that we will soon be launching a new course, the Hotel and Building Maintenance Program. This program will focus on the repair and preventative maintenance techniques unique to hotel and building systems, covering everything from repairs and small renovations. We believe that this program will be an invaluable addition to our existing offerings, and we look forward to providing more information as it becomes available.
