A fun place to belong, grow, and experience Jesus.

The Salvation Army Ontario Camping Ministries (OCM) is a Christian organization that operates a summer camp for children and youth, as well as a year-round retreat center for group rentals. Our mission is to provide a safe and fun community where individuals can feel a sense of belonging, grow in various areas, and experience the love of Jesus Christ.

Our History

The Salvation Army has been serving communities for over 150 years, and OCM is a part of this legacy. Our organization was established to provide a Christian camping experience for children and youth, and has since grown to include a retreat center for groups of all ages.

Our Services

At OCM, we offer a variety of services to meet the needs of our campers and guests. Our summer camps provide a fun and interactive experience for children and youth, with activities such as swimming, arts and crafts, and team-building games. Our retreat center is available for group rentals, and can accommodate groups of up to 200 people. We offer catering services, meeting spaces, and a range of activities such as team-building exercises and outdoor adventures.

Our Facilities

Our facilities are located on the shores of Lake Simcoe, just one hour north of Toronto. Our retreat center, Jackson's Point Camp, offers a range of accommodations, including cabins, dormitories, and meeting spaces. We also have a second location, Newport Adventure Camp, located in the heart of Muskoka on beautiful Skeleton Lake.

Our Team

Our team is dedicated to providing a safe and fun experience for our campers and guests. Our staff are trained in first aid and emergency procedures, and we have a robust health and safety policy in place. Our leadership team, Mark and Jodi Dunstan, have over 30 years of experience in ministry and camping, and are committed to ensuring that every individual who visits OCM feels valued and supported.
