Pioneer Flower Farms, a family-owned business established in 1971, is one of the largest bulb forcing farms in North America. Located in the heart of Niagara, Ontario, Pioneer Flower Farms produces over 70 million blooms per year, supplying cut flowers and potted plants to various parts of the world. Henk Sikking, the founder, began this journey with a single greenhouse and a passion for growing. Today, his sons Henk Jr. and Peter have expanded the business into an industry leader, covering 328,000 square feet of greenhouse space and 4.75 acres of cold storage.

Our Services

*Cut Flowers*: Pioneer Flower Farms offers a wide variety of cut flowers, including tulips, hyacinths, mixed bouquets, and cut sunflowers. Our cut tulips are available from September to May, while cut sunflowers can be purchased from July to October. Our team ensures that every order is carefully hand-picked and prepared for delivery, maintaining the freshness and beauty of our products.

*Potted Plants*: We offer an assortment of seasonal potted plants, such as tulips, hyacinths, daffodils, crocus, iris, muscari, and mixed planters. These plants are perfect for both indoor and outdoor decoration, offering a touch of natural beauty throughout the year.

*Seasonal Offerings*: Pioneer Flower Farms provides a variety of seasonal products, including cut asiatic lilies available from July to September. We continuously work on expanding our product range, catering to the diverse needs of our customers.

Pioneer Flower Farms has a dedicated team of professionals managing various aspects of the business. Our management team includes Henk Sikking Sr., Henk Sikking Jr., Anita Scholman, Peter Sikking, and Rose Davison. Together, they oversee the company's operations, ensuring that we maintain the highest quality standards and meet our customers' needs.

Our sales team, led by Scott Vanderwal, Kathy Goodman, and Emma Bok, works closely with our customers, creating tailored solutions and providing exceptional service. Our administration team, including Heidi Holmes, Rose Davison, Shirley Bezuyen, Sandra Fuenmayor, and various purchasing and accounts personnel, supports the day-to-day operations and enables Pioneer Flower Farms to maintain its position as an industry leader.

Situated on 1900 Seventh Street in St. Catharines, Ontario, Pioneer Flower Farms boasts state-of-the-art greenhouses and equipment, allowing for increased production while keeping labor costs at a minimum. Our expansive cold storage facilities ensure that our blooms remain fresh and vibrant until they reach their final destination.
