Assessing Mental Health Status

We assess mental health status by conducting a thorough patient history and administering the Hoffer Osmond Diagnostic (HOD) Test, a specific monitoring questionnaire that assesses mood, thinking, and sensory perception, the three primary components of behavior. This approach allows us to develop a comprehensive understanding of our patients' mental health and create targeted treatment plans.

Lab-Based Targeted Nutritional Treatment

Our lab-based targeted nutritional treatment approach is centered around the concept that everyone has a unique biological pattern, and that appropriate lab testing is essential in determining the best course of treatment. We have a toolbox of new and advanced treatment options for addressing copper 2+ toxicity, copper 1+ deficiency, zinc deficiency, heavy metal toxicity, niacin dependency, and food intolerances.

We offer video consultations and in-person appointments, and our team is dedicated to providing personalized and compassionate care to our patients. We believe that every patient is unique, and we take the time to understand their individual needs and create customized treatment plans.

Cost and Coverage

Consult, lab, and supplement costs are outlined in detail on our one-page Clinic Services consent form, which patients must sign and read in advance of their first visit. While we accept Extended Health Care coverage for consult costs, lab and supplement costs are typically not covered by insurance providers.

Our clinic care provider, Dr. Ray Pataracchia ND, is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor with extensive experience in clinical practice. He has collaborated extensively with the primary founding father of Orthomolecular Medicine, Dr. Abram Hoffer MD, and has authored several peer-reviewed journal articles.

Clinic Catchment Area

Unfortunately, our clinic only treats patients who live in Ontario at the time of treatment. However, we can recommend other practitioners in other locations for patients who do not meet our clinic's residency requirements.
