Erdmann's Gardens & Greenhouses is a family-owned and operated farm located in Westlock County, Alberta, dedicated to providing sustainable and ethically grown produce, potatoes, and bedding plants to our customers. With over 35 years of experience, we take pride in our commitment to growing nutritious, delicious, and safe food for our community.

Our Story

Our farm was originally started by Rony Erdmann in 1983 as Erdmann's Vegetable Farm, with a modest two-acre production and one Farmers' Market attendance. Over the years, we have grown and expanded our operations to include a 12,000 sq. ft. greenhouse for bedding plants, hanging baskets, and planters. Today, we farm over 80 acres of land, with half of it being irrigated to ensure a consistent supply of mouthwatering vegetables, even in dry years.

Our Services

At Erdmann's Gardens & Greenhouses, we offer a wide range of services to cater to your needs. Our farm produces a diverse variety of vegetables, including peas, beans, cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, beets, onions, lettuce, carrots, corn, cucumbers, potatoes, zucchini, Brussels sprouts, kohlrabi, Swiss chard, and strawberries. We also have a vast selection of bedding plants, hanging baskets, and planters to enhance your outdoor space. Our products are available at four Farmers' Markets in Edmonton and area, as well as at our farm.

Our Commitment

We are committed to farming sustainably and ethically, ensuring that our produce is not only delicious but also safe for consumption. We conduct soil tests in the fall and apply the necessary fertilizers and micro-nutrients in the spring to replenish the soil. We also re-incorporate plants into the soil for organic matter and use registered sprays sparingly, only when necessary.
