Lack of Service and Warranty Issues
The reviews highlight a lack of service and warranty issues with Paramount Recreation. Bill C. purchased two hot tubs in August 2021, but the experience was disappointing from the start. His son's tub had a broken bracket, which was not fixed despite multiple emails to Josh, the salesman. The company failed to send a trained technician to fix the issue, and instead sent a salesperson who was unable to diagnose the problem. When Bill's son's tub stopped running again, it took six weeks to get someone to come and look at it. The sales manager, Matt, informed him that he had to pay a trip charge of $100 for waiting six weeks, which was unacceptable. Matt also cancelled the warranty, citing that the customer had not paid the trip charge. Bill and his son were left feeling frustrated and annoyed with the company's service.
Positive Experiences
On the other hand, some customers had positive experiences with Paramount Recreation. Paul L. purchased a hot tub three years ago and had a good experience with Matt, who provided him with a "Hot Tub 101" lesson on how to maintain and service the tub.
