Our Story

Our journey began in 1999 when our founder and president, Brent Rheaume, started working as an independent contractor in the Grande Prairie area. Fast forward 2005, Rheaume Engineering incorporated, and we hired our very first employee. Since then, we have grown to become a leading engineering firm in Alberta, with offices in Grande Prairie and Calgary. Our proximity to field operations allows us to interact closely with our clients' operations and provide practical, cost-effective solutions.

Our Services

We are experts in engineering projects, offering a comprehensive range of services from cradle to grave, including engineering, design, project management, project services, construction support, operations support, and as-building. Our team is well-equipped to tackle complex projects, and we pride ourselves on delivering fit-for-purpose quality solutions tailored to our clients' needs.

Our expertise is not limited to a single area. We have a dedicated team focused on emission reduction projects, helping our clients solve the emissions reduction puzzle. We also have extensive experience in management of change (MOC) projects, which make up 40% of our work. In fact, we have been executing MOC projects for over a decade.

In addition to our engineering services, we also offer well pad design and operational expertise, helping our clients design the optimal solution for their well pads. Our team is also experienced in overpressure protection (OPP), ensuring the safety of equipment, people, and operations.

Innovation

We have invested in computational fluid dynamics, a process engineering on steroids, where innovations and ideas can be tested in days rather than weeks or months. This allows us to simulate complex flows, slurries, and mixtures, supercritical fluids, porous media, granular transport, and more.
