Our Team: Skilled and Experienced Lawyers
Sarah Dargatz is a partner at Latitude Family Law LLP. She graduated from the University of Alberta Law School in 2008 and was called to the Alberta bar in July 2009. Sarah articled with Legal Aid Alberta and joined the Family Law Office, a program of Legal Aid, in June 2010. She has been practicing family law exclusively since that time. Sarah is also a mediator and a registered Collaborative Family Lawyer. She is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC), and the Alberta Family Mediation Society. Sarah regularly takes advantage of training opportunities in all areas of family law.
Riley Gallant is also a partner at Latitude Family Law LLP. She graduated from the University of Saskatchewan College of Law in 2008 and became a member of the Law Society of Alberta in July 2009. Riley practiced family law with both Legal Aid Alberta and Legal Aid Saskatchewan's Family Law Offices at the beginning of her career, with a focus on child welfare litigation. She is a trained mediator, a registered Collaborative Family Lawyer, and she enjoys representing children in high-conflict parenting matters. Riley is active in the Canadian Bar Association (CBA) Alberta, having sat on the executive committees for the Child and Youth (North) and Solo, Small Firm and General Practice.

Positive Experience with Lawyer Riley
Riley was the lawyer who handled my Common Law Separation. She was very comfortable to talk to, and I trusted her completely. She took detailed notes and asked many questions to ensure my separation agreement was thorough and looked out for my interests. Our meetings were efficient and to the point, with Riley always being well-prepared and making sure I understood everything. Communication was great, mostly through email, which allowed for efficient review and feedback. She was always prompt with replies and kept all appointments on time. The office was welcoming, and I would not hesitate to return for future family services.
