At Better Health Acupuncture Care Centre, we pride ourselves on being a family-run clinic based in Kingston, Ontario, with over 20 years of experience in providing exceptional acupuncture care to our patients. Our clinic was founded by Xiuxian (Susan) Liu, a highly respected Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner and Acupuncturist, who has dedicated her life to helping people achieve better health outcomes.

Our Story

Susan Liu, our founder, has an impressive background in traditional Chinese medicine, having graduated from the Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1986. She has practised as a general surgeon for over 14 years, taught TCM and acupuncture at the Tianjin University of TCM, and published innovative papers contributing to the development of TCM and acupuncture using modern technology. With over 25 years of experience, Susan firmly believes that treatment outcomes can be improved by combining methodologies of both Western medicine and Chinese Medicine.
