Kenseikan Karate-Do is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to spreading the authentic and traditional Shotokan karate style in Canada. We believe in making karate accessible and affordable for everyone, regardless of their financial background. Our primary mission is to empower individuals to become physically and mentally strong, respectful, and confident individuals through the practice of karate.

Our Approach

We combine traditional Japanese Shotokan karate with unique training methods developed by our esteemed founder, Hon. Shihan Wataru Okawa. This blend of experience and innovation allows us to provide a holistic karate training experience.
