Raised in Yellowknife and Saskatchewan, Kristin Rongve moved to BC following her graduation from law school at the University of Saskatchewan. She was captivated by the area's beauty and the companionship of her friends and family on Vancouver Island. Since 1995, Kristin has made her home in Nanaimo, where she specializes in family law and handles other civil court cases.

Kristin is passionate about helping individuals reach the best resolutions possible in the most effective and cost-efficient manner. Kristin Rongve has a strong commitment to the local legal community through her involvement as a member of the Canadian Bar Association, BC Branch. From 2013 to 2020, she served as the Chair of the Nanaimo City Bar Association's family law section, and as the Director's Board Chair for 2019/2020.

Within the community, Kristin has been an active member of Nanaimo Daybreak Rotary since 2001, holding various positions and leading numerous community projects. Her contributions have been recognized with the prestigious Rotarian of the Year award in 2011.
