Terrible Service, Avoid New Water Plumbing

Inconsistent and Overpriced Service

New Water Plumbing has received numerous negative reviews from customers who have experienced poor service and overpriced charges. The company's inconsistencies in their service and professionalism have led to customers expressing dissatisfaction with their experience.

Charges for Minimum Service and Lack of Resolution

Many customers have reported being charged a minimum service charge for issues that were not resolved. For instance, a customer was charged $200 for a hairline crack in the toilet tank and the company refused to work on it. Another customer experienced a similar issue with a sink faucet, where the plumber insisted it wasn't the sink causing the issue and instead changed the cartridge on the bathtub faucet.

Poor Communication and Lack of Respect for Time

There have been numerous complaints about the company's communication and respect for customers' time. Customers have reported waiting for long periods for the plumber to arrive, only to be left waiting or receiving no call or text to inform them of delays or cancellations.

Damaging Existing Plumbing and Charging for Repairs

In one case, a customer reported that the plumber damaged existing brass adapters from the pipes and soldered new valves straight to the pipes, making future repairs more time-consuming and costly. The customer also felt that the company's 90-day warranty on their work was insufficient given the damage caused.

High Prices and Hidden Charges

Customers have expressed frustration with the high prices charged by New Water Plumbing, as well as hidden charges such as a truck charge and taxes on materials. In one instance, a customer was billed for 2 hours of labour at $71.00 an hour, plus a truck charge of $28.00, and taxes on a $7.23 aerator, totaling $211.57 for just 30 minutes of work.

Condo Management Team Should Consider Replacing This Company

Many customers, particularly seniors, feel that the company preys on them and takes advantage of their situation. The condo management team should seriously consider replacing New Water Plumbing to protect their residents from these practices.
