At My World of Learning Child Care Association, we take pride in being a non-profit organization dedicated to providing top-notch child care services to families in the community and staff of the Nova Scotia Community College. Our centre, established in 1994, has been committed to fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can thrive and grow.

Our Story

Located on the Nova Scotia Community College (NSCC) - Truro Campus, our facility is licensed by the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development and inspected by Fire, Health, and Early Childhood Development inspectors. We operate from Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 5:15 pm, and are open year-round except for holidays and one week for professional development/maintenance typically in the last week of July. Our dedicated team of educators, led by Director Natasha and Assistant Director Jennifer, work tirelessly to ensure that every child receives the attention and care they deserve.

Our Services

We offer a comprehensive range of services designed to support the cognitive, social, and emotional development of children. Our experienced educators teach the children essential skills to succeed in elementary school and beyond, while encouraging socialization, creativity, and self-expression. Our centre is equipped with modern facilities and resources, providing a comfortable and engaging environment for children to learn and grow. We also offer a subsidy program, accepting children with subsidy seats, and encourage parents to apply to the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development for eligibility.
