For over 65 years, A Tremblay Contracting Ltd has been an integral part of building Kapuskasing and the surrounding areas. Established in 1955 by Antonio Tremblay, the company began modestly with a single dozer working for Spruce Falls Pulp and Paper. Through determination and hard work, Antonio grew the business into a reputable family-owned operation known for its expertise and reliability.

Antonio's legacy was passed on to his sons Julien, Daniel, Andre, and daughter Aline in 1995. Under their stewardship, A Tremblay Contracting Ltd has grown to become a trusted provider of construction services and products, contributing to numerous community projects such as home excavations, swimming pools, parking lots, and more. One of the significant projects the company undertook was the demolition of the Kapuskasing Inn.

On January 14, 2022, the Tremblay family and the community experienced a great loss with the passing of Julien Tremblay, the company's long-time leader and president. His leadership, attention to detail, and unwavering work ethic were instrumental in upholding the company's reputation for providing exceptional services. Today, the third generation of the Tremblay family continues to manage the business with the same commitment to quality and service that has defined A Tremblay Contracting Ltd for over half a century.
