Our History and Tradition
For over 125 years, Hamilton Golf and Country Club has been at the forefront of golf in Canada. Our storied history dates back to 1894, when our founding members first teed off on our 27-hole parkland layout. Over the years, we have been privileged to host many of the game's greatest champions, including Bobby Jones, Jack Nicklaus, and Gary Player. Our members, their families, and friends have always been at the heart of our club, and we are proud to offer a unique and unmatched golfing experience.
Our Course and Restoration
Our 27-hole parkland layout is a masterclass in golf course design, with each hole offering a unique and challenging experience. Our restoration, led by renowned architect Martin Ebert, has ensured that our classic 18-hole West and South courses have been returned to their former glory, with stunning vistas, well-protected greens, and strategically placed bunkers. The East course, designed by Robbie Robinson, is a beautiful example of parkland golf at its finest. Our short course, designed as a tribute to Harry Colt, offers an excellent introduction to the game or a fun and challenging round for those of all skill levels.
