Footsteps Family Centre stands as a trusted partner in early childhood development, proudly serving the Thunder Bay community for over two decades. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to providing high-quality, inclusive childcare for children from infancy through age 12.

Many of our staff have been with us since the center's inception, ensuring continuity and familiarity for the children in our care. Personalized Programs for Every Child

We understand that every child is unique and learns differently. Therefore, we offer a variety of programs and services to cater to diverse needs and schedules. From full-time and part-time options to specialized programs for children with special needs, we pride ourselves in tailoring our care to individual requirements.

Enriching Outdoor Play Experiences

At Footsteps Family Centre, we believe in the importance of learning through exploration and discovery. Our natural play space provides a vibrant environment where children can engage in open-ended play and connect with the natural world. We are currently in the process of expanding this space to include a dedicated garden, climbing structures, a multi-seasonal play zone, and more.

A Community Partner

We partner with the Association of Early Childhood Educators Ontario (AECEO) and the College for Early Childhood Educators (CECE) to stay updated on the latest advancements in childcare and ensure that our staff are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge. Our center serves the Thunder Bay and surrounding area.
