Our founder, Kevin DeCoste, started the business in 1986 with a guiding principle of providing quality workmanship at a fair price. Over the years, our company has grown in size and scope, and today we employ 16 full-time employees, providing electrical and HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair services to both commercial and residential clients, as well as general electrical contracting services.

Customer Service Issues

Decostes, a local business, has been criticized for their customer service. A customer, Sherri MacEachern, had a poor experience after purchasing an air exchanger and air to air outside heat pump from them. She rated her experience 1 star.

The customer reported damage to the unit which the owner was initially unwilling to acknowledge. Despite this, the owner offered a $100 discount to resolve the issue. However, when Sherri faced a heating system problem, Decostes refused to send a service technician, citing COVID-19 as the reason. Sherri was disappointed by the lack of empathy and felt that the business was not living up to expectations, especially during the holiday season.
