Our journey began in 1985 when Julio and Estrella Sanchez first opened their store at West Edmonton Mall. Since then, we have been supported by many local businesses and artists who appreciate our commitment to quality and excellence. Our name "Zapato" means shoe in Spanish, and "Sanchez" is our family name, which we proudly put on every shoe we make because we truly believe in our quality. We continue to use traditions passed down from our grandfather to father to finally our present 3rd generation of the Zapato family.
