The Yellowknife Racquet Club (YKRC) has been a fixture in the community of Yellowknife since 1981. From the beginning, we've strived to bring Yellowknife the best fitness experience possible, and over the years we've adapted to accommodate the needs of the many diverse individuals that have walked through our doors. With 4 international sizes squash courts, 2 studio spaces, a spin studio, 2 fully-equipped weight rooms, cardio room, and ample event space, YKRC brings a level of luxury to the Yellowknife gym scene that no others can.
Our Story
At YKRC, we believe that it's the ability and desire to evolve that leads to change. We have the professionals to help you make it happen. With a diverse fitness, yoga, and spin schedule of 40 classes per week, we've tailored our class schedule to work for everyone! Our instructors are AFLCA Certified, ensuring you're getting the best fitness possible. Full Access memberships also include specialty classes such as Barre, Yoga, Spin (indoor cycling), and Rebounding at no extra cost!
Our Facilities
YKRC is and always will be Yellowknife's premier fitness facility, but what most Yellowknifers don't know is that we offer one of the best social scenes in town. With just over 22,000 square feet of event space, fitness space, and squash courts, we are able to offer a community atmosphere like no other. Join us for Friday Night Squash Drop-In, a specialty fitness class, or a beverage in the lounge! Our weight and cardio rooms are state-of-the-art, and our studios are equipped with the latest equipment and amenities. We also have a fully-stocked lululemon retail store on site, offering the latest athletic wear and accessories.
