Our Team

_Tom Antony, Fund Manager_

Tom Antony, the founder and president of Peregrine Investment Management, brings over 24 years of investment management experience to the firm. His career has included stints as an analyst and portfolio manager at TD Asset Management, where he covered technology, financial services, and emerging markets. Tom's tenure at TD Asset Management culminated in his role as Backup Manager of the TD Banks Pension Fund.

Following his time at TD Asset Management, Tom joined RT Capital, one of Canada's leading pension managers, as Vice President. Here, he managed in excess of $2 billion in client assets and served as the firm's chief analyst for technology, telecom, and healthcare. Tom also ran the Emerging Technologies Fund, the largest Canadian-only technology fund in Canada. After RT Capital was sold to UBS Global Asset Management in 2001, Tom remained with the merged firm for two years before founding Peregrine Investment Management in 2004.

Tom is a graduate of the University of Chicago (A.B.), the University of Toronto (M.A.), and is a CFA Charterholder.

_Chris Lee, CFA, MBA, Analyst_

Chris Lee joined Peregrine as an Analyst in 2012 and has over 15 years of experience in capital markets. Prior to joining the firm, Chris worked for four years as an Equity Research Associate at GMP Securities, covering technology stocks. During his time at GMP, he assisted the Analyst in winning a Top 3 Starmine Stock Picker award for three consecutive years.

Before his role at GMP Securities, Chris spent two years as a Proprietary Equity Trader at an independent trading firm. He holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Queen's University, an M.B.A. from the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management, and is a CFA Charterholder.

_Jenn Tran, BA, Business Manager_

Jenn Tran joined Peregrine in 2006 and has over eight years of experience in the financial services industry. She completed the Canadian Securities Course in 2008 and focuses primarily on the ongoing operations of the firm, including the maintenance of the company's financial books, IT administration, client services, and back-office operations. Jenn is a graduate of the University of Toronto (Honours B.A.).
