Our History

Founded in 1979 by Lorenzo and Anthony (Tony) Menecola, Applewood Glass & Mirror has a rich history of innovation and excellence. From our humble beginnings to our current state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Mississauga, Ontario, we have consistently pushed the boundaries of what is possible in architectural glazing. Our highly qualified staff is dedicated to providing customers with quality products, skillful installations, and exceptional service.

Our Services

At Applewood Glass & Mirror, we offer a wide range of services to meet the needs of our clients. Our manufacturing facility is fully equipped to handle a wide range of project challenges, from simple entrance and window frames to large unitized pre-glazed curtain wall projects. We operate from our own recently renovated 52,000 sq. ft. state of the art manufacturing facility, where we utilize the latest machinery and equipment to ensure that we remain at the leading edge of our industry.

Our installation team consists of qualified journeymen glaziers (Architectural Glass & Metal Technicians) who are committed to installing our products quickly and efficiently. We also have a professional staff of sales people, estimators, design technicians, and project managers who work together to ensure that your project is built properly on paper first.

Our Awards and Associations

We are proud to have received several awards and recognition for our work, including the TCA - Best of the Best Award in 2003 and 2015, and the Tremco Solution Series Award. We are also members of several industry associations, including the Canadian Construction Association, Toronto Construction Association, Architectural Glass and Metal Contractors Association, Mississauga Board of Trade, and Construction Safety Association of Ontario. Our installers are certified members of International Union of Painters and Allied Trades (IUPAT).
