Nu-Way Kitchens Inc. is the oldest cabinet shop in the region, with an impressive 60 years of experience in the industry. Founded in 1964 by Clarence Wolters, the company has a rich history of providing high-quality, custom cabinets to clients across the region. Clarence's vision was to revolutionize the way cabinets were made, by building them in a shop and transporting them for installation, rather than building them on-site. This innovative approach has become the universal standard for custom cabinetmaking, resulting in a significant improvement in quality and options.
Clarence adapted the skills he learned from working in his father's furniture shop in Holland to produce custom, built-in cabinets. Now retired, he has handed the family business to his sons, who have always been immersed in the world of cabinets. Today, Nu-Way Kitchens Inc. continues to operate as a family business, providing a completely custom cabinet experience that only a family-run enterprise can offer.
Our Commitment to the Environment
At Nu-Way Kitchens Inc., we are committed to doing our part for the environment. For every confirmed project, we will plant 10 trees through Tree Canada, the only national non-profit organization dedicated to planting and nurturing trees in both rural and urban areas across the country. This initiative not only helps to combat climate change but also improves air and water quality, compensates for carbon emissions, and supports wildlife. We are proud to be doing our part to protect the planet for future generations, while continuing to craft high-quality cabinetry for our clients to enjoy for decades to come.
Our Process

That's why we offer a completely custom cabinet experience, tailored to meet the individual requirements of each client. Our process begins with a visit to our newly renovated showroom, where clients can explore our array of vignettes and samples, showcasing the wide variety of options available. From there, we offer an in-home consultation to discuss the client's wants and needs, followed by an initial measure to customize a design that suits their space perfectly.
Next, our designer will develop design options suited to the client's space and needs, which will be presented at our showroom using 3D technology to bring the design to life. We work closely with the client to fine-tune a functional design that works best for their day-to-day life, and provide a quote for the project.
Once the design has been finalized, our designer will work with the client to select the perfect finishes, hardware, and accessories to complete their cabinetry. We take pride in our attention to detail, ensuring that every aspect of the project meets the client's expectations. From design to installation, we are committed to providing exceptional quality, function, and design that will stand the test of time.
