At Millgrove Veterinary Services, we are dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care to animals in a unique and comfortable environment. Our mission is to improve the health and happiness of our patients through an integrative approach that combines conventional and complementary therapies. Our team, led by Dr. Lisa Burgess, a certified veterinary acupuncturist, is committed to working with you and your pet to provide personalized care that addresses your pet's specific needs.
Dr. Lisa started her mobile veterinary practice, Burgess Veterinary Mobile Services (BVMS), in 2003, which quickly grew in popularity. In 2009, she incorporated under "Dr. Lisa Burgess Professional Corporation" and built an office to better serve her clients, renaming the practice to Millgrove Veterinary Services. Since then, the practice has grown into a companion animal office, focusing on holistic health and acupuncture for pets and horses.

Our Unique Approach
What sets us apart is our fear-free approach to veterinary care. We understand that visiting the vet can be stressful for pets, which is why we've created a warm and comfortable environment that helps to relieve anxiety and stress. Our unique office space is designed to promote relaxation, and our team is trained in fear-free handling and restraint techniques to ensure that your pet feels safe and comfortable throughout their visit.
We also offer mobile services, including house and barn calls, to cater to pets that require specialized care or have difficulty traveling to our office. Our mobile services are ideal for multi-pet households, pets that find car loading painful, and animals that experience car sickness.
