Our Story

Over the past 30 years, computerized numerical control (CNC) has revolutionized the machining industry. Traditionally, skilled workers operated lathes and milling machines manually, limiting the accuracy and speed of production. Our Services

DMI provides a range of CNC machining services, including milling, turning, CMM inspection, reverse engineering, and waterjet cutting. Our state-of-the-art facility is equipped with the latest technologies, allowing us to manufacture complex parts with precision and accuracy. Technology-Driven Milling

In early 2021, we added a fifth CNC milling machine, providing clients with highly efficient, advanced machining services for manufacturing complex parts. Our 5-axis mill offers exceptional precision and speed, enabling us to deliver high-quality components quickly and efficiently.

Turning

We expanded our CNC lathe capabilities in 2021, optimized for turning large dimensional stock with multi-axis live tooling. Our turning services enable clients to manufacture complex parts with precision and accuracy, meeting the stringent requirements of various industries.

CMM Inspection

Our coordinate-measuring machine (CMM) is a value-added service for clients, ensuring exceptional quality assurance. With a resolution of 0.0005mm, our CMM provides precise measurement and inspection of manufactured parts, giving clients confidence in the quality of their products.

Reverse Engineering

Many clients have very specific needs, and we have completed projects for emergency repair of sea-floor wellheads, aerospace retrofits, and critical infrastructure, as well as personal and small-business needs. Our CMM room is critical when reverse engineering is time-critical, enabling us to deliver rapid and accurate solutions.

Waterjet Cutting

In 2021, we expanded our services, investing in a 5-axis waterjet table. This investment opens new possibilities for clients, allowing us to cut virtually any material with precision and accuracy. Our waterjet uses highly pressurized water at 60,000 psi combined with garnet abrasive, making it an ideal solution for complex machining applications.

DMI can meet all machining needs from prototype to high-volume, cost-effective production. We work with our clients to deliver consistent quality and excellent economics of scale while improving the production process for optimal workflow.
