Our History
Counter Corner Ltd. was founded by Howard Walsh in 1986, along with his brother Paul. Starting from a small plant on Portugal Cove Rd in St. John's, NL, we have grown and expanded over the years to become one of the leading countertop providers in the region. Today, we have a team of over 15 employees and a state-of-the-art facility on O'Leary Ave. in St. John's, NL.

Review: Absolutely horrendous. We ordered countertops in the fall for a kitchen reno. Kitchen reno was finished but we were stuck waiting on countertops. They were delayed over and over. Pushing late November we are still being re-assured that they will be there in time. No need for a refund or to try another company. Finally in early December, while on a family trip we're stuck on the phone with counter corner daily trying to get an answer.
We ended up re-ordering the countertops from a second company (those arrive within 2 weeks). After all the run-arounds, disrespectful behaviour and then finally having the countertops arrive weeks late they refuse to give us a refund. No apologies. As a final nail, they promised to hold on to our countertops for us and cut then when ever we were ready.
Or at least until they quit the laminate countertop business and cannot provide any assistance with our countertops. Still no help or offer of a refund. Just come pick them up and find your own solution. They demonstrated time and time again that they do not care about their customers. They will take your money and do the absolutely minimum for you. Buyer beware there are lots of better local options.
