At Alcorn Music Studios, we are dedicated to providing a supportive and fun environment for musicians of all ages and skill levels to grow and develop their musical talents. Private Lessons
We offer private lessons in a variety of instruments, including voice, piano, songwriting, guitar, banjo, bass, ukulele, sax, clarinet, flute, oboe, drums, violin, and viola. Our experienced music instructors are passionate about teaching and are dedicated to helping our students improve their skills and reach their full potential. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced musician, we have a teacher who can help you take your music to the next level.
JamBand Program
Our JamBand program is a unique and exciting opportunity for musicians to come together and play in a band setting. We have rock bands, acoustic bands, country bands, blues bands, folk bands, cover bands, and original bands, so you're sure to find a group that fits your style and interests. Our JamBand program includes weekly sessions, songwriting, studio recording, and live performances, all under the guidance of a full-time band coach. We welcome musicians of all ages and skill levels, from adults to kids, and we encourage you to join us and become a part of our musical community.
Group Classes and Workshops
In addition to our private lessons and JamBand program, we also offer a variety of group classes and workshops. Our Little Chickadee's Song Circle is a fun and interactive program for young children, while our Folk & Fine Company and Tim's Jazz Workshops offer more advanced training for musicians looking to improve their skills. We also host a Summer Music Ottawa Singer Songwriter Camp, where students can learn from experienced musicians and industry professionals. And for saxophonists, we have the Crius Saxophone Camp, a specialized program designed to help you take your sax playing to the next level.
