WHO WE ARE
Sak's Music is a family-run music school and store, located in the heart of South West Calgary. We have been serving the local community since 1992, providing music lessons, selling instruments and accessories, and offering the largest selection of print music in the city. Our mission is to make music an enjoyable experience for everyone, regardless of their skill level or musical goals.
MUSIC LESSONS
At Sak's Music, we offer private, hour-long music lessons for a wide variety of instruments, including guitar, bass, banjo, ukulele, piano, voice, drums, violin, and woodwinds. Our professional teaching staff are all qualified to prepare students for Royal Conservatory exams, festivals, and competitions. We believe that music lessons should be tailored to each student's individual needs, so we formulate a program that strikes the right balance between fun and formality. We offer music lessons year-round and students can register and start anytime.
PRINT MUSIC
Sak's Music is home to the largest selection of print music in Calgary. We receive new orders every week, so we can stay stocked on popular music and methods for all instruments. If we don't have a particular item in stock, we can usually order it and have it available for pickup within 1-2 weeks. We also offer digital music downloads and printing services through our online digital music catalogs.
INSTRUMENTS & ACCESSORIES
In addition to our music lessons and print music selection, Sak's Music carries a wide variety of instruments and accessories for musicians of all kinds. Whether you need to replace the strings on your guitar or the reed in your alto saxophone, we've got you covered. We stock the needs of players of all levels and offer rental instruments as well as instrument repairs.
REGISTRATION
To register for music lessons, we require a policy sheet outlining payment and cancellation notice. Payment can be made via 10 post-dated cheques or by credit card. We require a four-week notice for permanent cancellation.
